Marquesan spear

The Marquesan spear is a weapon carved from rosewood with a swordfish beak tip, once used to inflict serious wounds. Although a weapon of war, it is also an aesthetic object with protective tikis engraved on the handle, symbolizing the warrior lineage of its owner. The barbed tip was designed to break off in the opponent’s body.
